McDavid... I always disagree with Dissentowner but in this case I have actually heard the same from people who know his wife in Edmonton. They're gone after this contract. I personally don't think this is a secret. That said, Edmonton will throw anything possible at him to stay and money talks.

Maybe they've gotten tired of only being able to do layups in their indoor basketball court.
