Yeah, thanksgiving, is just the most family of family holidays in my life. Christmas, we often see far extended family and their dates, run into people we don't know. Summer holidays we usually end up at larger community events... New Years you go to a party with 'random' people your age. Thanksgiving just strikes me as the holiday where you end up with the same 10 - 20 people every year. So even a sisters random co-worker is far outside of the bubble of thanksgiving for me. (no that there's anything wrong with that).
