This is actually fairly correct narrative of Arabs view on the matter. They hate the very fact that Jews have a state in Palestine, because immediately before there was such state, it was Arab's lands, even if controlled by Britain. Similarly, Putin hates the very fact that there's Ukraine, because before there was Ukraine, its lands were Russian.
