I understand the optimism that Sutter’s departure might result in bounce back seasons for key players. However, dude was still a very good coach and I think the defense and 5 on 5 play could take a big step back without him.

I predict improved seasons for Huberdeau and the goaltending, with the same net result of a narrow miss. I hope it’s more definitive either way since the narrow miss scenario could be a disaster from an asset management perspective.
