My biggest gripe is Dawson. What is with that ridiculous smirk every single time a scene calls for tension, emotion, action, etc. Cause out comes that irritating smug expression. Was she a classmate of Charlie Hunnam at the Galaxy Quest school of acting? Cause he does the exact thing in any role I've seen him in. But at least Hunnam has charisma. Dawson/Ashoka's magnetism more closely resembles a block of wood.
Is it Dawson's fault? Is it a lack of direction? I don't know. Every week I'm more focused on that smirk and why it bothers me, and every week I'm left in a stupefied state and can't come up with an answer.

Its funny that you mention this because every female actor in this show did it which leads me to believe that it was direction.
Ahsoka was the worst for it, Sabine was not far behind and even Hera did it.
They spent most of the show with their arms crossed and smug smirk on their faces.
Why are you so smug? You did nothing to warrant this.
