As Bally's are rejecting these deals, teams are usually finding an alternative way to get their games on TV, but often lose out on that RSN revenue. But with the Coyotes getting less than 10,000 viewers watching their games, is there a point in doing that?

Coyotes only local revenue stream this year may be from whatever they can get out of their tiny arena, and looking at ticketmaster, they are no where near sellouts most nights even though it is only 5000 people.
Nope. The Bally cancellation was just the precursor to them completing their new deal, which will see them be broadcast on a much more widely available channel. Bally was only available on special cable packages, whereas ABC15 is available for free over the air. Very similar to what the Suns have done.

Seems to me like a huge win for the visibility of hockey in the market.
