Also liked he made sure the Night Troopers that they were sending to slow down the Jedi were volunteers and understood that the Grand Mothers would be zombifying their corpses. Looks like he is a commander that cares about the troops and sees them as people instead of fodder.

The farewell taunting to Ahsoka was *chef kiss.* Subtlety letting her know he knows the Anakin - Vader connection and taking jabs at her.

I just wish they could've shown off Thrawn's tactical genius better instead of him just trying to delay the Jedi and run out the clock. Would have loved it if a New Republic fleet was waiting for Thrawn in the original galaxy and he managed to take them out with a partially crippled star destroyer.

As for the overall season it probably would have benefited being 13 episodes long instead of 8. I am not that big a fan of the Mortis gods (I personally don't like the deifying of the Force) but 5 more episodes to explore what Baylan is looking for could have probably made the season more interesting.
I liked the taunting of Ashoka, and I would have loved to see Thrawn tear the heart out of a republic fleet to solidify his tactical genius, because honestly I didn't think we saw it here.

It would have been easy to further link Thrawn by having him study some Sabine artwork, honestly where did that go.

The accuracy of the Imperials has always been a running joke. there was a video where Stormtroopers got cateract surgery and suddenly they were all crack shots and they wiped out the rebellion in 10 minutes.

One other thing that was interesting. When we saw the Mortis God heads we saw the Father (Balance) and the Brother (Darkside) but no sister (Lightside). We did see the Owl that represents the Sister(Lightside) flying near Ashoka. IIRC when the brother murdered the Sister, she transferred the last of her spirit or force energy into Ahsoka to save her life. So maybe her big destiny is that she's going to become the Sister and bring the Cellestials into balance once Abeloth is released if it is indeed Abeloth that's coming.

As for Sin, I'm assuming she's going to beat the Raiders into submission and become their queen.
