I enjoyed what felt like peak jedi shenanigans in this episode and it was cheesy fun. However what is happening for a season 2? The events with Thrawn are definitely split now from Ahsoka, Sabine, Baylon and Shin and it would be terrible to have one show try and tell both story lines.
Also why is there no other star cruisers on that planet? Are the crab people and marauders stranded?

The hunch I'm getting is that Ahsoka season 2 will take place in the far away galaxy and explore stuff like the Mortis gods, and origin lore with Baylan (not sure yet how) and Shin, as well as expand on Anakin and Ahsoka's relationship. I think they'll take a full season to bring that group back to the main galaxy.
Meanwhile, Mando 4 probably deals with the main galaxy happenings, since we've already seen how Filoni and Favreau have no issues crossing over these shows since they're intertwined in the same bigger conflict. And I highly suspect Luke is going to enter the fold on that side, since this is all supposed to lead up to a loose adaptation of Heir to the Empire, and the Skywalkers are major characters in that story.
