It was a good defensive play, not a great one. No matter how far back he was, he's still knows he has to backup the third baseman, and throwing a ball 100 ft to the catcher is pretty routine for an everyday SS.
Bo ran through a stop sign from a coach who could see the play developing behind him and as mentioned, not a great jump around third in the first place...live it didnt ever look like he had a chance to get home outside of a throwing error.
Again, bases loaded if he stayed at third wouldve changed the dynamic for the Twins in that inning and the game, and had much better odds of the Jays getting that single run and or more that inning, and then it's game on.
Instead no run, 2 other runners left on, and deflating to the dugout for coming up empty after getting those runners on, in a 3 run game.
Jays will win tomorrow, hopefully handily so the pen gets decent rest for Thursday.
