I would give the day one starters job to the goalie with the best showing in pre season. That’s not to say that Markstrom isn’t going to be the starter for this team, or the number one guy but the team shouldn’t anoint him if either Vladar or Wolf outplay him. Can’t afford any slow starts and this is how we fell behind last year. This is a crucial position and goalies are an odd group. Just play the guy who gives you the best chance to win. Re-evaluate when someone starts to slip.
