Hopefully we’ll at least get a solid 8th episode and then they can build on it and find their footing in S2.

I'm thinking Filoni needs to stick to cartoons. This show has been plodding and slow and really, just a 'love letter' to his beloved cartoons.
And not a very good one.
Also, I think he needs to get some more women on his writing team or something, because at the moment his female characters are brutal.
And we dont even know if this is building to something bigger, we're assuming it because if it isnt then this is just going nowhere.
