I thought he and Tanev were our best pairing when they were finally put together last year. He seems to play more dynamically and generate more offense with a partner like Tanev. Also, he was great with Andersson 2 years ago.
I think you are forgetting it was a preseason game, a new system and that he's still shaking off some rust.
