The reason I am really optimistic heading into this season is because of just how unexpectedly, inexplicably disastrous last year was. I find it nearly impossible that the Flames will be anywhere near as bad this season, which is why they should finish pretty comfortably in a Division playoff spot.

Sure...but we all know that without solid goaltending thats going to be a real short trip.
