I broke my collar bone when I was a teen, the rehab was pretty rough. Hurts with almost any upper body movement.
Mine came back to 100% within a year but I was functioning and using my arms within the first few weeks following the injury.
Worst part about the injury is sleeping. Real hard to get comfortable with a broken collarbone.
Hope he gets lucky but I didn't like the way his arm was hanging there.
