Brett Sutter, signed to an AHL contract with the Wranglers and likely attending main camp on a PTO, falls into the fourth category (and counts as a veteran).
If we pretend every 26 AHL games counts as an NHL game he's got enough when combined lol.

Pike might be confused because the AHL and ECHL classify veteran status based on total professional games, not just in that one league.
