Based on what?
Rebuilds are a lot closer to 8 years than the 4 you’re hoping for, operative work being ‘hope’.
It’s taken Buffalo, Detroit, and Ottawa minimum 6-7 years just to get to the point of being a
playoff contender, yet alone the
cup contender you’re suggesting the Flames could be in 4-5 years.
