If there's any change of conflict of interest it's not with the entities that are out to get him, it's with the entities that have been
protecting him.
In years past, Brand was someone who could make certain people a lot of money, so plenty of powerful people kept their mouths shut about his creepy, rapey, criminal behavior.
Brand has tanked his own career to the point where he doesn't make those people enough money to protect him anymore.
