The intro to this new Galaxy was done really well IMO. They jam-packed a lot of info into episode 6 from Thrawn and Ezra's intro's, Nightsisters doing their witchy stuff, and whatever the heck it is that Baylan is after in this new Galaxy.. I have so many questions but I feel like they nailed the delivery.

One thing that is for certain though, this feels like Star Wars to me, Dave and co. are doing something that I feel like we haven't seen George Lucas, which is to say that they are actually moving the franchise forward with fresh ideas while keeping it on-brand. Can't say I've felt like this in a long time, not since hearing about the sequel trilogy coming out. This story being adapted into a Trilogy is what I'm hoping for now, and that's without seeing the last 2 episodes.

Can't wait to see Thrawn back in our known Galaxy, and that Gold Enoch character along with all of his remaining troops, battered ship, and whatever he was loading onto the ship has me super intrigued. Thrawn is going to be a big problem and is more than worthy of being the face of the Empire in a new Trilogy, kudos to whoever directed that episode btw. Other than the flat delivery of some lines by Sabine I thought that was arguably the best episode of the season so far. The last two episodes have been craaazy.

Also, not sure where I read it but Timothy Zahn who wrote all the Thrawn books and created the character has been a consultant on the show and he's been given the green light (probably quite a while ago now) to write a new book(s) about what's been going on with Thrawn/Chimera/Ezra in this new galaxy between the end of Rebels and what we're seeing now. I'm sure based on what we've seen.. that when that book comes out it's gonna be an absolute banger.
