I didn't think the Flash was horrible either. The effects were broken at times, but that has a lot to do with WB pulling funding partway through. The other complaint was that they didn't quite stick the landing on the ending with the evil Flash, but it was close. The character design was off, and there they didn't quite build up into it enough.

There were a lot of pretty entertaining and engaging parts to the movie though.
