I'm surprised TRU is opening up in BB&B's space (K-Mart for those of us who have been going to TRU since the 80s). I thought them leaving Market Mall was the death of TRU in the NW! I've noticed a big shift at TRU to trying to sell more pop culture toys and replacing huge sections of toys with children's books. Its probably a good idea to offer books for kids but it's also a business decision by their new owner which is Sunrise Records to maybe stock something that is cheaper to get inventory for.
Decathlon is slated to open in the old MM TRU space by end of Sept!
