Yeah, it really only takes one player (or any one staff member even) to make it not right. Even if he did or said one stupid thing to one single person, sorry. Check yourself before you wreck yourself. People who want to go to bat for this type of thing as being a mistake or even normal need to think about their own experience and what in their life maybe wasn't actually normal when it seemed like it was.
My guess is he made some old man comments about some of the younger players' "endeavours" and that's all you need. Times are different. "Guy talk" is different. A 20 year old has a different thought process and totally different life experience than a 30 year old. When weird, creepy things happen to young men, they now actually feel comfortable going to their peers and saying, "hey, this was effing weird, right?" vs a previous generation that just shoved all that crap down. I'm glad the players that were made uncomfortable felt confident enough to say something, especially after some veteran players spoke too soon.
