They took a big swing on a guy with past success but it was always going to be a boom/bust hire. I'm just shocked that the guy couldn't even make it to the preseason. Clearly this man is socially awkward and doesn't have a clue on how to properly interact with people. Even a mediocre office manager would know better than going through an employee's personal phone. This is why Quenneville shouldn't be hired again IMO. Keenan, Hartley, Babcock, Peters, Sutter, etc. These guys are/were all deeply rooted in the old hockey culture and are incapable of changing their spots.
