It needed more Venom. They almost could have made two movies out of this, one dealing with the Parker story line and the other dealing with Venom. They didn't do the character justice, that was my beef. My biggest beef and this might be a bit of a spoiler depending on how you look at it so stop reading now................. was that Venom didn't say us once, always just refered to himself as one. In the comics/cartoon Venom always refered to himself as two people, Brock and the symbiot (sp). It really took away from the character I thought.

Bah... I got what I wanted, closure, but I was just hoping the inbetween part would be a bit better. I am not disapointed, but I still think 1 and 2 were much better. I hope for four he just goes back to basics, Spiderman Vs Dr. Connors or something similar, one villian is enough. Sadly the door is open for more than a few. Yes there is still some symbiote for Carnage, and yes there is a chance Lizard could emerge but also in Spiderman 2 John Jameson is introduced who becomes Man-Wolf in the comics. In Spiderman 1 Dr. Mendel Stromm is also introduced who becomes Gaunt. But as we've seen in this movie they aren't to worried about introducing the villiens ahead of time so its pretty much up in the air who the next one(s) will be.

For those curious here is a list of potentials: Chameleon, Vulture, Lizard, Electro, Mysterio (I think this would be a good choice for 4, lots of potential here since MJ is trying to be an actress, Mysterio starts out as a special effects guy), Kraven, Alistar Smythe, Rhino, Shocker, Kingpin (god knows why this guy isn't in the movies yet), Jackal, Hydro-man, Carnage, Morlun and possibly Doppleganger, although thas getting a little deep.
