I’d back up the brinks truck to keep him. We have a bunch of money coming off of the books this off season and will be able to promote a few guys who are cheaper to fill in for Merrifield and Chapman. Hicks could be the centerpiece of a great bullpen. Teams are becoming more and more reliant on their bullpen as starters rarely go much past the 6th and so I think it is a worthwhile investment to sign a 27 year old guy who can hit 103 with movement.

100%. Let's not forget that the bullpen was a big weakness earlier on this season, with arms such as Bass, Cimber and Pop.
