Drove out today and arrived at the slide area at about 1:30 p.m. PT. We didn't even have to stop. The highway was pretty quiet, so if you're avoiding off-peak times, it should be pretty smooth sailing as long as that single lane stays open.
Now... The Trans Canada at Kicking Horse Canyon is going to be closed beginning at noon Monday.
That's going to suck.
