Regarding (a) from what I understand there was quite a wide difference of opinions on how to deal with Climate Change, and I would suggest the numbers probably reflect more the priority of the voters on dealing with Climate Change vs what they perceive as more serious matters for Canada at this time.
Personally, I believe Canada is in a position to capitalize on its resource abundance and fight world Climate Change at the same time. I also believe that our Energy Industry will play a prominent role in helping to solve Climate Change.
Regarding (b) I am a strong Pro Choice advocate, and the party normally avoids any vote on this matter.
Also, PP is not bound to include the policies adopted at policy conventions into an eventual election platform.

What? So they’re just keeping this a secret for some reason? I’d think if they truly cared about Canadians then maybe they’d share this awesome platform and try somehow to make it happen before an election. My reaction to this is PP, and the party in general, don’t give a flying fata about making things better for Canadians.
