Canadian politics is kind of funny.

It used to be "would you rather pizza or tacos?" Either way you get fed, but what you eat is the choice.

After choosing pizza a couple of times, you'd get tired of it, and then choose tacos. Again, still being fed with food you like, you might prefer pizza, but sometimes a change is as good as a rest.

Sometimes the food would vary, rather than tacos the choice is pizza or burgers; then burgers or sandwiches. Different philosophies on how to get fed, but the ultimate goal is for good food.

Now there's been a shift.

We, Canadians, are tired of pizza. We've had pizza 3 days in a row now. Pizza might be our favourite food, but it's time to mix it up.

The issue is, while we no longer want pizza, the alternative is cat poop.

Cat poop neither tastes good, nor is it nutricious.

Last election was pizza or rotten eggs.

The election before that pizza and mouldy bread.

We're ready to give up pizza, we want to give up pizza, all the opposition has to do is give an alternative, chicken soup would likely suffice, but it's got to be something edible. We're not going to choose to eat cat poop just because we're tired of pizza.

Yet, here we are, with the CPC is walking around with a litter box saying "who's hungry?"

Its never been Pizza vs. Tacos/cat poop, etc. in the last several elections. It’s been spam jelly vs cat poop. Now it’s dog poop vs cat poop. Canadian politics is now about lesser of evils. If the CPC could ditch the far right BS, they might be some form of food instead of excrement.
