Every time I interact with people spewing that level of anger and hatred towards a public figure I wonder if there's an end goal for them or if they're just hooked on lashing out at their scapegoat and there isn't much thought that beyond that. Are they just problem-oriented in general?

If tomorrow they got what they wanted and Trudeau and all Trudeau sympathizers in government abdicated their roles or were locked away (which I'm sure they'd relish), would they be able to turn off their vitriol and negativity since the source of these problems is dealt with? Would they know what to do with themselves when they don't have that 'oppressive force' to rail against?

Or would they just find new scapegoats and new problems, because railing against reality is all they've known and practiced for years? I think that seems likely. Someone whose practiced being a victim for most of their adult life won't know how to be anything else. It's only natural that they would revert to what's familiar, even if they have to find it somewhere else.

From the outside, it just looks like a sad existence to lead when people you hate are what give you purpose and your pursuits meaning.
Exactly. People like this are just addicted to outrage. Half of their issues are made up, and they'll just continue to make up new ones
