I thought it was pretty good. The special effect were amazing, espcecially the Sandman I thought. Some of the action was a little too eradic at times and gave me motion sickness. I also agree that it was a little sappy. In fact, everyone in the theatre was laughing when Peter Parker cried.

Question for people who read the comics.... I am somewhat familiar with the story lines, but how close was this movie to the comics?
