Here are my 5 cents on the issue. It's not about being positive or negative. It's about trying to convince people with an opposing view that this one view is better, more correct, or the only one worth considering. Even when you use numbers, analytics, whatever, they still can't predict the future completely. People are just tired of hearing the same arguments from both sides over and over, especially when those arguments go in circles and continually escalate. That's where discussion turns into bickering.
I personally love the discussion we have here, and I enjoy disagreeing with other posters while hearing a different perspective. I actually, prefer to discuss something with posters that think differently from me, helps me learn new things every day. The problem as always is that we're all very passionate about the Flames, and so when things don't go well it's easy to get frustrated and take it let it all out here on eachother.
