I've never understood the willingness to cast one group of people from an other nation as being brainwashed all while refusing to consider that we too, may be under the same influence at home. Just like how we here have people who can form their own opinions despite the 24/7 consumption of news that's provided to us easily, other people who look very different from us can also do the same.
