Weighing In here. Peter's did a racist thing that probably affected Aliu's career. That being said I doubt it ruined his career for 2 reasons. Firstly as a black man this was probably far from the most racist or hurtful thing to happen to Aliu. Secondly if the head coach/boss dislikes you for any reason it's going to be hard to make the team/ get the dream job.
What Peter's said was wrong no doubt, but the effects of his actions are somewhat exaggerated, if anything management needs to be punished for not responding when the incident was reported.
