I wasn't arguing it was an issue, just making an observation. I'm pretty happy with the amount of Flames prospects that end up in the NHL. It seems as though we have a bit of a harder time developing top end talent lately.
In order for a player to become an NHLer, let alone an impact NHLer so much has to go right. Sometimes it's just a matter of a different perspective, the right coach, and the right opportunity.
Bennett, and Valimaki were good examples of that. They looked like completely different and better players in different roles after they moved away from CGY. Maybe there are some adjustments that can be made, so that next time our young players take that extra step in development with the Flames organization.
