If the new Arena is completed for 2026 or so, do we have a franchise player at that time? What about a few foundational pieces for an elite core? The owners will want a sold out arena and tickets aren't going to be cheap. The only players on the team right now that are going to matter in 3 years are the young group who hasn't broken out yet and Anderson, lindholm, Kadri huberdeau. Would a core built around 35 year Olds + Coranato pelts and wolf fill an arena? I guess I'm a little confused why the team wouldn't want to blow up half this roster and go on a little rebuild to grab some prospects. It's starting to look more and more like this will be the ideal season to rebuild and I'm okay with that.
