You don’t see 25 year old, 6’6”, 94 point #1C Tage Thompson as elite? How about 22 year old, 6’3”, 68 point #2C with a great two-way game Dylan Cozens? Or 20 year old, 6’6”, 34 point, 24 minutes a night d-man Owen Power? And that’s not even including 79 point Alex Tuch and 81 point Jeff Skinner, who both scored more points than anyone on the Flames last season.
Throw in 23 year old, 6’3”, 78 point Norris-conversation Dahlin, and the Sabres have an incredible young core. They also have one of the top-rated group of prospects beyond those guys.
