We don't know what is going on behind the curtains, so I'm not going to pass judgement on Peters. OK, well instead of believing something nobody asked you to believe, would you believe he’s just an abusive coach who is also a racist in a category somewhere below “klan rally racist”?

I don’t know, I don’t know why people are so quick to write-off or diminish guys like Aliu and Carcillo who talk about physical and emotional abuse, but weep for guys like Beach who were sexually abused. Regardless of what kind of abuse it is, abuse isn’t OK and can have a detrimental impact on people. And for a game that is so mental like hockey, it can have a detrimental impact on the ice as well.

You don’t even have to think Peters is all that bad, but there doesn’t seem to be any reason to diminish Aliu’s experiences to justify that.
