The regularity of the Wolf Howl after big saves seemed too much as well. Yet I'm sure that if I heard it a couple of times during a game I'd be okay with it.
Rob Kerr wasn't great at pbp either, he admits he wasn't, and yet he loved doing it. There's nothing wrong with a little criticism(granted I would word the criticism differently).
