One small thing we decided the Dawgs do a bit better - concession variety and price. It's the age old question could you sell more beer if it was cheaper? But at half time the lineups were huge so I guess they would have to open more locations too. Merchandise was great for Cavalry. Parking was a bit tougher to get out of.
Weirdly annoying things - the pillars in front of the stands and the clock not counting up through injury time. I get why the pillars are there, but the clock is perplexing.
All in all, a very fun day out. We were front row in section 108 so the perfect spot for the penalty shot.
I compare them to the Dawgs, whose product I know better, as they both draw in that 4-5000 range and are looking to grow. I think if Cavalry keep getting new fans through the door they will have a decently high rate of repeat attendance. The on field product definitely holds the interest of a casual fan.

Those pillars are brutal. Originally I had front row in one of the sections and was told the pillars were going to be super small. I went to the first game and called Monday morning to move those seats. The guy told me that what was supposed to be built and what ended up being built were two different things. I think they'll regret that as time goes on, because those seats have to be a hard sell.
