It's great to have that early transition day to figure out what is going on and what is happening for parents who are going to the school for the first time via transition or changing schools.
I could kinda see and understand why some parents get annoyed by it once they nail down the process. It's incredibly disruptive and annoying to accommodate to most parent's working schedules, even if they are WFH.

Sadly at the start of 2023 Enmax stopped doing streetlight repairs and now a private company has the contract, and they have no clue what they're doing

I was curious what the downside of having bluish purplish lights for streetlights in an entire city would be like. It seems like it could kinda give a city character since all other cities have 2700K yellowish lights or 3000K/4000K white lights.
TBH, I'd be curious whether customizing light poles could do something similar and give a city some character.
