Do you want to make a difference in Ottawa, albeit small?
I found the address for this MP and his constituency and I have mailed them off a letter letting them know exactly how I feel about putting Bigfoot on the endangered species list as well as the treatment of Shane Doan.
Here are the e-mail addresses and I will post a copy of the letter that I sent. I am going to try and find Ken Dryden's e-mail address as well and send him a copy too.

Dear Mr. Lake,
I just received an email that showed a link to a Yahoo website which talks about you working to put Bigfoot on the endangered species list.
Please don’t mention that the western provinces support you and above all please don’t take your ridiculous plan to the US. I plan to travel there and don’t want to be humiliated by being associated with something so trivial. Your website infers you are University educated. I am sure the U of A and your constituents in Edmonton are very proud of you. Perhaps you should put common sense on the endangered list – it seems to be the most lacking in our country right now.
If you are associated with anyone concerning our Parliamentarians and Shane Done you could revel with them as well. Tell them about being team captain and scoring 3 goals in 6 minutes. There may not be enough eggs in Ottawa to cover those faces.
We have enough problems in Canada that deserve your conscientious time. That our Parliamentarians are now involved in putting Bigfoot on the endangered species list, that they are now involved in the selection of the captain of Team Canada, while people are on 2 year waiting lists for health care, while the infrastructure of our country has gone to pot, while people are on the streets because there is not affordable housing, while court cases against pedophiles are backlogged because they cant process evidence fast enough, while there are serious holes regarding security in our great country, while there are all kinds of other issues that would be top priority, well it is mindboggling.
Your time may be better spent being remembered as someone who actually made a difference to such things as health care, transportation, exports, restoring Canada’s world wide image, seriously cleaning up pollution, just to name a few.
Are you prepared to make a hat trick to Canada’s future? Give it a try. Who knows, maybe someone will then remember you for actually making a contribution to Canada and a difference in our society.
Thank you.
