my purolator driver (who is an awesome guy and we get along great) fully believes the Maui fire was caused by lasers from the sky becuz he saw a video online. i don't get how guy who has a good head on his shoulders and is a fairly smart guy can get sucked down into the rabbit holes. i will say this - it makes for some great conversation between us when he's doing deliveries! ha!
with most of the kelowna and west kelowna evac orders being taken off and people are returning home, it's amazing to see how close the fire came to wiping out entire neighbourhoods - with the burned trees and vegetation being right at people's back yards. the fire fighters did an amazing job.
