Another thing to consider is that Lafrenière is a power winger and a lot of his game revolves around holding onto the puck to create time and space for his line mates. Usually speaking those types of players take time to develop as strength and balance is a key element to thier game.

I am quite confident he will turn into a 70 point player who impacts the game in many ways but it just might not be with New York. New York has been playing him 13-14 minutes a night, eventually you have to start giving him the reigns and allow him to take that next step.
