Don't forget Rogue One. It also had that feel. It was the first to get star wars right post-Disney's acquisition.
Rewatched it out of the blue yesterday and it was even more enjoyable after seeing the Andor series. Donnie Yen deserves more credit for his performance, he is outstanding.
Edwards and co. got the menacing and cutthroat nature of the imperial elite down and Vader's scenes still hit as hard as ever.
If only they had their current deep fake guy back then to do Tarkin's scenes. It would have completed it.
I would say Mando season 3 didn't really have it though. They kind of lost the Way in that season. It was so inconsistent eposode to episode and not cohesive as a whole. It rushed parts that needed more time and love. The first two seasons certainly though.
