My guess is it would probably depend on whether or not they believe the cons would win a majority. A conservative majority would all but eliminate any chance of their policy goals being achieved. Even a CPC minority with the liberals holding the balance of power wouldn’t be ideal for them so my guess is they try to maintain the status quo while pushing through as much as they can while they can.

They’ve already made some pretty significant gains policy wise, probably some of the biggest gains ever by a third place party but unfortunately their pro-labour stance isn’t going to be enough to get them votes at the federal level since the labour legislation that affects the majority of voters is provincially regulated. So they’re going to need to drastically change their focus in other areas if they want a chance at ever becoming the official opposition again, not sure Singh is the guy to lead them there though.
