Rural BC is hardly alone though, ever been to Rural Ontario or Quebec? Its essentially the same except with a significantly heightened degree of entitlement.

Yep, I grew up in the Okanagan and crossing the Coquihalla always felt like you were entering a different province, whereas Calgary just felt like a flatter version of home
