Pick a new word, people. A "hoax" is something designed to fool people just for the sake of making them look or feel foolish. If there are real sinister motives behind it like revenge, world domination, repression, money, etc, then it's a scam, a con, a conspiracy. Let's take back "hoax" from these idiots!
