In-laws have a place in DC ranch. I've been going to Scottsdale 2-3 times a year for past 8 years. have gone to 1 pre-season game in that time.
Majority of the people that live in the area are fans of 1 visiting team so those game would be a decent draw, Flames, Oilers (lots of Chicago people) etc. but other than that it would be local attendance and I don't think the interest is there with Phoenix residences for the 60+ games.
The best option would have been the Tempe area because of the promos that could be offered to the college students to get butts in seats.
