Whatever makes you feel better about it. LOL I'm not in denial - But the Coyotes are one arena away from being a world class operation. Show and prove but it's true. The owner has the money and the city is a one of the best places to live during the NHL season.
Same as Calgary and The Flames. Maybe not the best place to live for players due to weather, media and lack of anonymity but Calgary is similarly a vacation destination due to the proximity to the Mountains, etc.
On the ice Lanny outlined my points..
I've lived a life of being a fan of absolutely pathetic teams. Sans one small handful of years each.
(I became a fan of the Dbacks in 2000, enjoyed the 2001 World Series from Calgary) and pray they can be good yearly.
Same with the Suns, I became a fan in about 2003 - We nearly won it all in 2021 and finally have an owner who doesn't sabotage his own team. I'm praying for a parade this year.. come one sweet heavens!
I know the Arizona Coyotes are an absolute joke, but I refuse to judge this market until it's actually in a location to succeed.
Anyway, the Coffee is kicking in nicely this morning! wooo
