Forwards:
Huberdeau - 20
Kadri - 25
Mangiapane - 25
Backlund - 15
Lindholm - 34
Coleman - 15
Sharangovich - 22
Dube - 20
Coronato - 18
Ruzicka - 15
Pelletier - 12
Duehr - 10
Sub-total = 231
Defense:
Weegar - 8
Tanev - 4
Kylington - 8
Hanifin - 6
Andersson - 13
Oesterle - 2
Gilbert - 1
Sub-total = 42
Random players who may play in the NHL at times:
Klapka - 4
Jones - 3
Zary -3
Pospisil - 1
Honzek - 3
Sub-total = 14
Total = 287
That 287 total would be a +27 increase over last season, which seems maybe overly optimistic. It would put the Flames 3rd in the West using last season as a standard and 7th in the league. I assume these estimates must be too optimistic.
I will admit, I have a tendency to over-estimate these every year, but I don't think I am being too overly optimistic on specific individuals, with the exception of Coronato. It might be a little much to expect an 18 goal rookie season, but I have high hopes for him and given how shallow our RW is, I expect him to get top 6 opportunities. I am also assuming that Honzek gets a 10 game audition.
Edit: I totally forgot about Zadorov, so the team totals could push 290 based on my probably too overly optimistic predictions.

2 teams scored over 300 goals last year, so you are being optimistic.
And no team has 12 forwards with 10+ goals.
