I wasn’t saying it’s not real fish, “filet” is a stretch though, it’s just “fish” the way that the “beef” in a can of ravioli or kraft dinner has “cheese”. It’s technically true. I think anyone that has eaten a fried fish filet would prefer that over a basically flavourless filet o fish. How does it even resemble a fish.
Yeah, I get that you found it personally delicious. That’s pretty subjective and can’t be argued against. I am just not sure it deserves a place in the “holy ####! this is delicious” pantheon of food. Maybe it serves as a baseline as you start trying out new types of fish or sandwiches.
